Do you store or see my files?
Not with the online tools. Each one runs as JavaScript inside your browser tab, so your file is never sent over the network. The optional Windows PC app is separate software that you install and run on your own computer.
Is there a file size limit?
No hard limit from us. The practical ceiling is your device's memory, so very large files (500MB+) may be slow on older phones.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes — every tool works in mobile Safari and Chrome. Large PDFs will process a bit slower than on a laptop.
Do I need to install anything?
Not for the tools on this page, which run in your browser. For PDF to Word and Word to PDF conversion there is a free Windows app you can download.
Why is "Compress" not shrinking my file much?
Compress cleans up the PDF's internal structure. If your file is mostly high-resolution images, there's a hard limit to how much that alone can save.
